How did they treat Wing?
How do you think you would feel in that situation?
Has there ever been a time where you have felt that people weren’t treating you very well? What did you do? Did anyone help you? Who did you talk to?
Task:
Create a guide for someone who is being picked on. Give step by step instructions of what to do in the situation. What should the person do by themselves? Should they involve other people? Who might they be? What are the solutions someone could take to solve?

Task 1- After watching this video what is one key thing you can take away and use as a leader?

Task 2: Complete these two worksheets about humility

Worksheet 1- Copy the table at the bottom onto a piece of paper and sort out the comments in the speech bubbles under the right heading.

Worksheet 2– Be Honest!!! Remember the point of this activity is to see that we are talented in some things and have limits in others and that’s OK.

  1. Listen more than you talk
  2. Put in effort every time
  3. Ask for help when you need it
  4. Acknowledge the contribution of others.

HOW LEADERS SHOULD EXPRESS CONFIDENCE

Volunteering for a role or task when you know you are capable
Following through on something you have committed to
Speak with positivity

Standing up for your beliefs and points of view
Having a go when others are standing back
Using your gifts and talents whenever possible

Responding positively to compliments

Showing enthusiasm about activities being undertaken

Task 1- Complete the worksheet below by writing the answers down with pen and paper. These are reflective tasks made to help you grow as a leader!

Part 1: Confidence

  1. If you had to rate your confidence out of 30, with 1 being not very confident and 30 being super confident what would you score yourself?
  2. Score yourself on each of the situations below and count up your total when you have finished.
  3. Is the score that you calculated higher or lower than you expected?
  4. Which 2 or 3 situations in the table would you like to focus on improving in the future?
